FOUND IN: The Farm on June 12, 2012

The search was not what anyone would have thought necessary. After all, we live in the era where everything is available. Apparently not, when looking for tomato stakes. Finding only the plastic aluminum coated or the round flimsy metal left much to desire. Wood, real wood, the kind we grew up with, would do. This it seemed was a wish ungrantable.
The six month search ended with a chance encounter at Thackeray Farms on Johns Island. They were kind enough to share their source. 1000 stakes and a 50 mile trip to Walterboro, SC netted an end to the hunt.
They still need pointy ends. Upright they shall be soon.
Tomatoes will never taste sweeter.
